Context
Anti-cancer drugs can be dangerous if the patient receives the wrong dosage. It can lead to toxicity or absence of effect. Therefore, personalization of drug dosage is important.
The objective of this project is to build an intelligent platform to analyze the concentration of 6 different drugs in blood thanks to electrochemical sensors, to process the acquired data (as various drugs are present in the sample), and to use that information to personalize the patient’s treatment. It involves three PhD students, the one working at HEIG-VD being in charge of the data processing and optimal dosage computation.
