Healthcare innovations, such as new drugs and medical devices, impact not only patients but also healthcare organizations and professionals. Recognizing this, manufacturers advocate for assessing these organizational effects. In response, a mapping tool was developed in collaboration with HAS (France’s equivalent of Swissmedic) and IFROSS (University of Lyon 3) to evaluate these impacts for reimbursement applications. This tool helps manufacturers and HAS better understand the broader effects of healthcare technologies, improving decision-making for production and procurement.
